Two working parties are planned for the coming month:-
Sunday, 24 February, 10.00am. Repairs to one final section of the revetment above the learning tree, cleaning remaining charring from the Raking steps bench and further holly management. Wear sturdy boots and gloves. Meet at the top of Greenwood Lane.
Sunday, 10 March, 10.00am. Removing silt mound adjoining the stepping stones, cleaning Dave Newman’s bench and vegetation management in the surrounding areas. Wear sturdy boots and gloves. Meet at the top of Greenwood Lane.
The next meeting of the Upper Dearne Woodlands Conservation Group will take place in Birdsedge Church Hall on Tuesday, 12 March at 7.30 pm. All are welcome
